About Us

"Strike Hunger", is a team of university students who want to take action in order to fight hunger in Greece. The last years in Greece many people have lost their jobs, some of them stopped getting any income at all, homes are taken, many families are starving, and this is a result of the economic crisis the country faces. 

There are children in schools starving, and even faint, during the school hours because their families can't afford to buy enough food to keep them standing on their feet. 

With all that happening in our country, we decided to do something and try to make things a little bit better by taking a small but helpful action.

We chose to collaborate with the local supermarket "Sklavenitis", aiming to collect packed food of the brand "Marata" (Sklavenitis' brand).

You can help us! Every time someone buys something under the brand "Marata", 10% of the price funds "Mano Aperta" , a kitchen that provides food to those who are hungry.
